WB Primary TET Salary & Pay Scale
From the official West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) documents · last checked 3 October 2026
| Posts | Pay level | Pay |
|---|---|---|
| Assistant Teacher, Primary School (Govt. Aided / Govt. Sponsored / Junior Basic) | As per current West Bengal Government rules | No pay figure is given in the WBBPE recruitment notification |
TET is only an eligibility test, so it has no salary of its own. The WBBPE recruitment notification of 25 September 2025 says only that pay follows the current rules of the Government of West Bengal. It gives no pay level or amount. We have not listed a figure because we could not find the state's pay order for primary teachers on an official government website.
