Static GK is exactly that kind of almirah for your exam: facts that never change year to year. The peacock is always our National Bird, Kaziranga always means the one-horned rhino, and the Ranji Trophy is always cricket. A simple method to lock static GK into memory
- 1Group facts by theme (all symbols together, all dams together) — never learn them scattered.
- 2Make one 'trigger word' per fact, e.g. Kaziranga = 'rhino', Gir = 'lion'.
- 3Write each mini-list on a small card and revise it out loud daily for a week.
- 4Test yourself backwards too: given 'one-horned rhino', can you say Kaziranga?
- 5Revisit the whole almirah once a week — spaced repetition makes it permanent.
