SSC CPO 2026 Score Calculator
Paper-I: enter how many questions you got right and wrong in each section (from the official answer key or your own count). Marking: +1 for each right answer, -0.25 for each wrong one, 0 for skipped.
| Section | Right | Wrong | Score |
|---|---|---|---|
General Intelligence and Reasoning 25 Q · +1 / -0.25 | 0 | ||
General Knowledge and General Awareness 25 Q · +1 / -0.25 | 0 | ||
Quantitative Aptitude 25 Q · +1 / -0.25 | 0 | ||
English Comprehension 25 Q · +1 / -0.25 | 0 |
Paper-I has 100 questions for 100 marks, and 0.25 mark is cut for each wrong answer (CPO 2026 notice, para 12.1–12.2). This gives your raw score. SSC normalizes marks across shifts and adds NCC bonus marks, so your official score may be different. Cut-offs from 2025 and earlier were out of 200, so do not compare them directly.
How your SSC CPO 2026 score is calculated
Each section is scored on its own: right answers × marks per question, minus wrong answers × the negative mark. Skipped questions score zero. For example, in General Intelligence and Reasoning (25 questions), 18 right and 4 wrong gives 18 × 1 − 4 × 1/4 = 17 marks.
| Section | Right | Wrong | Skipped | Marks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| General Intelligence and Reasoning | 18 | 4 | 3 | 17 |
| General Knowledge and General Awareness | 18 | 4 | 3 | 17 |
| Quantitative Aptitude | 18 | 4 | 3 | 17 |
| English Comprehension | 18 | 4 | 3 | 17 |
| Total (out of 100) | 68 | |||
In this example negative marking costs 4 marks. With this marking a pure blind guess on a 4-option question still gains about 0.06 marks on average — but it's a gamble, and ruling out even one option makes guessing clearly worth it.
