India's FDI inflows rise sharply over two decades
According to DPIIT and RBI data, total foreign direct investment inflows reached about $95 billion in FY 2025-26, up from $4 billion in FY 2000-01; FDI equity inflows were about $59 billion in FY 2025-26, up from $2 billion in FY 2000-01.
