Punjab Social Security Schemes Cover Over 36 Lakh Beneficiaries

Punjab Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr Baljit Kaur said on September 4, 2026 that more than 36 lakh beneficiaries are receiving assistance under various state social security schemes and ₹2,697.44 crore has been transferred via Direct Benefit Transfer.
